  5. Due to the variety of CD drives and Mac models you need to tell MultiCD how to get the sound using the Playthrough menu.

  9. If your computer has sound input hardware you will normally select analog play and connect the sound output jack on the CD drive to the sound input jack on the Mac. For internal CD drives this connection is often made automatically.

  13. If your computer has several sound inputs you can select the one you want from the Analog Input submenu of the Playthrough menu.

  17. If your computer does not have sound input circuitry or you don't want to use it you can select Digital Play from the Playthrough menu to read the sound digitally through the SCSI connector.

  21. If you set the preference to save settings and options MultiCD will remember your input selections and use them the next time you play a CD.
